Dorothy and Gords' Chuburna Beach Home Garden Design
This project I have been waiting to tackle for many months now. Dorothy and Gord kept to their word and invited me to create their garden space, and let me tell you, we have some garden space!! When completed we will have the most awesome looking waterfall into a pond, palapa, palenque style entrance, and winding walkways through a green and tropical garden.
Watch the progress through the photos below
Before....(Let me explain the removal of the palm trees that you will notice in the photos below, one day my clients were at their front gate, and in the same moment they stepped away from the gate, a heavy palm leaf fell and if it would have hit them, could have been very bad) So we have decided to take them all out and create a new look.....follow below the steps it takes to create a garden this size...
OOOOOO Bobcats make such a mess.....but a huge time saver.. As I say "The mess before the beauty!"
April 5, 2012..8 Days in to the 4 week project...In this photo you can see the beginnings of the Palanque style walled entrance. Column footings go in tomorrow... And the obvious softening of the white walls to this great Mexican but subtle color of orange. Will blend beautifully with the greens and browns that will soon be of the part of this look.
The Final Look
Day 12 gardens and walkways taking shape
And now the completed look. 21 total days and now a complete change. So now I present Dorothy and Gord's Garden of Eden....
These photos below are one month after we have finished and everything is growing beautifully.
The photos below show the 6 months growth, what a beautiful difference.
